Rosalyn Smith - Operation DirectorRosalyn Smith is a Navy veteran, administrative leader, and proud Houston, Texas resident who has built a career around keeping people, projects, and daily operations moving in the right direction. After separating from the U.S. Navy and relocating from Great Lakes, Illinois, Rosalyn made Houston her home and continued using the structure, discipline, and leadership skills she developed in military service. Her experience spans both military and civilian sectors, with a strong background in administrative management, project coordination, daily department operations, and supporting work across multiple sites.

Rosalyn's educational background includes an Associate Degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor's Degree in Business, and an MBA in Healthcare Management — a foundation that supports her strength in administration, operations, project coordination, and organizational leadership. Known for being dependable, organized, and able to bring structure to busy environments, Rosalyn has spent much of her career helping teams stay focused, processes run smoother, and goals get accomplished.

Outside of her professional life, Rosalyn is a wife, proud mother of five, including one set of twins, and grandmother to one beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys reading, learning new things, and line dancing — even though she jokingly admits she may have two left feet.

Rosalyn is excited to be part of the TEAM, connect with others, share her experience, and continue growing both personally and professionally.

Tommy Mooney

Tommy Mooney is an entrepreneur, business development consultant, transportation and logistics professional, and U.S. Army veteran who brings extensive leadership, operational, and business development experience to Rhinos’ Nation.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MRTC LLC (Mobility, Realty & Transportation Consortium), Tommy leads a diversified business focused on transportation and logistics, business consulting, financial and credit education, and economic development. His professional experience has provided him with a strong understanding of business operations, strategic partnerships, relationship development, and the challenges entrepreneurs face when building and scaling successful companies.

Tommy’s leadership philosophy is rooted in service, accountability, economic empowerment, and creating opportunities that produce long-term results for businesses, families, and communities. His military background in the United States Army further shaped his commitment to discipline, teamwork, leadership, and mission-focused execution.

As an Advisory Board Member and Business Liaison Director for Rhinos’ Nation, Tommy works to expand the organization’s relationships with Black Owned Businesses, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and community stakeholders across the country. In this leadership capacity, he supports the development of strategic business partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, business recruitment initiatives, and programs designed to strengthen the economic impact of Rhinos’ Nation.

Tommy is particularly passionate about helping startup and established businesses build meaningful relationships, gain greater exposure, identify opportunities for growth, and become part of an economic network that strengthens communities. He will ensure that all sponsorship initiatives are conducted professionally, consistently, and in accordance with the organization's mission, policies, and standards while expanding a nationwide network of businesses committed to supporting BLACK communities.

His work with Rhinos’ Nation reflects his belief that sustainable community development requires strong businesses, effective leadership, collaboration, and intentional reinvestment into the communities those businesses serve.
Through his service on the Board and as Business Liaison Director, Tommy is committed to helping advance the Rhinos’ Nation mission of building stronger families, stronger businesses, and stronger communities while developing a nationwide network of business relationships capable of creating opportunities for current and future generations.

As our Rhinos' Nation Business Liaison Director, he is responsible for providing national leadership for Rhinos' Nation business sponsorship program by overseeing and supporting all Business Liaison State Directors. He will develop and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and strengthen relationships with BLACK Owned Businesses that partner with Rhinos' Nation as sponsors.
